On 12th February 2026, 55 students along with 6 faculty members from a Zilla Parishad High School Antharam visited Organo Antharam for an immersive learning experience rooted in sustainability and nature. The visit, facilitated by Organo Et School, offered students an opportunity to explore eco-friendly practices in a real-world setting.
The day began with a walk through Sapthapatha, a thoughtfully designed pathway that introduces visitors to the principles of harmonious and sustainable living. The students were guided by OES team members Ms. Komadhi and Ms. Susmita, who led them through various learning points across the campus.

The first stop was the netted house, where students were introduced to natural farming practices. They observed how crops are grown using organic methods, without harmful chemicals, and learned about the importance of soil health and biodiversity.

This was followed by a visit to the solar panels, where students gained insights into renewable energy and its role in reducing environmental impact.

As the tour progressed, the group explored biofencing techniques—natural ways of creating boundaries using plants—and water harvesting systems that demonstrate efficient conservation of water resources. These practical examples helped students understand how small, thoughtful interventions can make a significant difference in sustainability.

The visit continued to the Rurban Hive, a space that reflects a blend of rural knowledge and urban design. Students were introduced to the concept of integrated living, where community, environment, and lifestyle are closely connected.

They then visited the Goshala, learning about the role of cattle in a sustainable ecosystem, followed by the biogas plant, where they saw how organic waste is transformed into usable energy.

The final session took place at God’s Own Office, a unique and serene learning environment. Here, an interactive discussion was conducted on composting methods, helping students understand how everyday waste can be converted into nutrient-rich soil.

They also learned about the eco-friendly shelters built at Organo Antharam using natural and locally sourced materials.
The visit was not just educational but deeply inspiring. It encouraged students to observe, question, and reflect on their relationship with nature. Through this experience, they gained valuable insights into sustainable living, making it a memorable and meaningful day of learning beyond the classroom.
