We recognize that for any positive impact to be sustainable, it has to be long-term and inter-generational. Organo Et School strives to create an apt learning environment that will support and empower families as well as individuals to embrace sustainable living mindsets and habits.

Organo Et School is a learning initiative set up by Organo in 2017 and has been facilitating fields visits and workshops for Schools and Interest Groups. Organo Et School has had over 25+ schools, 6000+ students and 2500+ adults participate over the last 4 years.

We are on an endeavor to spread awareness, action and innovation on sustainability for children and adults. It gives a place to witness and learn from real world examples. Our workshops are categorized based on the 7 strands;

  1. Safe Food
  1. Fresh Air
  1. Earth (Soil Health & Waste Management)
  1. Energy Conversation
  1. Water Conservation
  1. Social Impact/Lifestyle
  1. Shelter

We fill a niche gap in teaching requirements for schools and communities, as there were not many educational partners where all 7 strands were incorporated into action. Students & participants learn various tools, methods, habits and information to adopt earth-friendly habits. This is done through experiential learning methods that help them to connect and be a part of nature, to grow their own food, by inspiring them to look for sustainable sources of energy, by contributing to the holistic well-being of the eco-system, and by becoming life-long learners of sustainability living practices.

Eco-Summer Camp 2021

We crafted 5-day camps for 4 age-groups (3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-15) that covered the 7 strands of sustainability. The learning outcomes were defined as part of the curriculum design for the camps, while the teaching methodology was crafted by individual teachers and/or facilitators as appropriate for the various age-groups. The learning outcomes were delivered through a four-pronged framework – Learning& Knowing, Creating& Exploring, Culinary Journey, Sharing & Storytime.

While we prefer experiential learning in an outdoor setting, we have been limited to virtual classrooms due to the pandemic. However, new and engaging educational tools and activities were designed for digital instructions and delivery to ensure an equally interactive and experiential learning experience.

Read more on the week-long summer camp aimed at 9-12 age group  and 6-8 age group  to get an overview of the students learning experience. We believe in connecting children & adults with nature. Connecting children with the natural world at a young age is the first step in creating responsible stewards of our collective future.

If you or your children are interested, please join us in learning and playing in a week of sustainability-themed summer camp! You can connect to us at oes@organo.co.in and by phone 9154100775
