Organo Team members explores the Biodiversity of Organo Antharam

On 6th November 2025, Organo Et School (OES) team member Ms. Kalyani, conducted an insightful session on biodiversity at Organo Antharam for the Pre-Sales and Marketing team at the Organo Head Office. The session offered a fascinating glimpse into the rich and thriving biodiversity that defines the Organo Antharam community.

The session explored the rich flora and fauna found across the landscape— from lush organic cultivation plots and native tree-lined boundaries to the seasonal streams and canals that nurture life throughout the farm.

Ms. Kalyani explained that Organo Antharam is home to 495 plant species, this remarkable diversity includes 131 tree species, 198 herb species, 58 climbers, 61 shrubs, and 47 grasses, among others. Antharam is also home to 184 species of fauna, This includes 51 bird species, 38 vertebrates, 28 butterfly species, 18 odonate (dragonfly and damselfly) species, 4 mammal species, and 34 herpetofauna species (reptiles and amphibians).

The session sparked immense curiosity among participants, who eagerly posed questions and shared observations, making the discussion vibrant and deeply interactive around Antharam’s diverse flora and fauna.

Through engaging visuals and discussions, Ms. Kalyani emphasized how biodiversity conservation is central to Organo’s mission of promoting Rurban living—a harmonious blend of rural tranquility and urban comfort. The session inspired the team to communicate Organo’s commitment to sustainable and nature-integrated living more effectively in their outreach and engagement efforts.
