On 16th April 2026, a group of 13 architecture interns from FHD India Consultants visited Organo Antharam for an experiential learning tour focused on sustainable community development, ecological design, and regenerative living practices. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to observe how sustainability principles are integrated into the planning and functioning of a real-world community.

The tour began with a walk through the thoughtfully designed residential clusters, where the interns explored how architecture, open spaces, and natural landscapes are harmoniously woven together to create a sustainable living environment. The discussion highlighted the importance of community-centered planning and human-scale design.

The interns then visited the Netted House and farming areas, gaining insights into organic farming practices, seasonal crop cultivation, and sustainable food systems.

The session emphasized the connection between healthy food, healthy soil, and healthy communities.

At the goshala, the interns learned about the role of cattle in sustainable farming ecosystems and how natural resources are recycled through composting and biogas production.

They also explored the biogas unit, which converts organic waste into renewable energy, demonstrating an effective circular economy model.

The visit also included a stop at God's Own Office, a nature-inspired workspace designed to foster creativity, well-being, and a stronger connection with the environment.

The final destination was Rurban Hive, the community clubhouse and restaurant, where the interns observed how shared spaces contribute to social interaction, community engagement, and collective well-being.

The visit offered the interns practical exposure to sustainable infrastructure and community design, helping them understand how architecture can play a meaningful role in creating resilient, environmentally responsible, and people-centric communities.
