On 22 December 2025, a group of B.Arch students from Ashoka School of Architecture visited Organo Ibrahimpalle, a sustainable eco-habitat developed by Organo Eco Habitats. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to observe and understand how sustainability principles can be integrated into real-world architectural development.

The session was led by Architect Keerthi Priya Manthena, who guided the students through the site and explained Organo’s sustainability framework known as Sapthapatha—the seven strands of sustainability. She elaborated on how these principles are thoughtfully embedded in the planning and design of the eco-habitat, ensuring that environmental responsibility is integrated into every stage of development.

The students began their visit by exploring the model villa, where they were introduced to the design elements that promote sustainable living.

This was followed by a walk through the project site, where they observed how various strategies are implemented to reduce the carbon footprint on the earth. From mindful land use to environmentally conscious construction practices, the tour highlighted how architecture can contribute to ecological balance.

The visit also served an academic purpose. The primary objective for the students was to study the project and reimagine its design as part of their participation in the Solar Decathlon India competition. By redesigning elements of the project, they aim to propose innovative and sustainable solutions that address real-world challenges in the construction industry.

Overall, the visit offered valuable exposure to sustainable architecture in practice, inspiring students to think critically about the future of environmentally responsible design.
