On July 15, 2023, Organo Et School organized an extraordinary program for families in Organo Antharam. The event, held at Ruban Hive on a pleasant Saturday morning, offered a diverse range of activities that brought joy, education, and engagement to all attendees.

Snake Awareness Program by Friends of Snake Society (FOSS):

The day commenced with an enlightening snake awareness program presented by the Friends of Snake Society. Ten different types of live snakes, native to Telangana and rescued by the society, were showcased. The aim of the program was to educate the participants about the various snake species found in the area, distinguishing between venomous and non-venomous ones. Additionally, participants explored Indian cultural beliefs and facts about snakes, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among both adults and children. The FOSS team patiently answered questions, fostering a deeper understanding of these fascinating reptiles.

Pottery Workshop for Children:

For the children, a pottery workshop proved to be a source of immense joy and satisfaction. Under the guidance of a skilled potter, they had the opportunity to create beautiful pots using a pottery wheel. The experience of crafting their own creations filled the young ones with a sense of accomplishment and happiness.

Nature Photography Session:

After a delightful lunch, the OES team announced a captivating nature photography session, led by the esteemed Dr. Abhijit Jadav. Dr. Jadav covered the fundamentals of photography, offering valuable tips and highlighting the dos and don'ts of the craft.

He showcased an impressive collection of images taken from his travels, inspiring the participants to appreciate the art of capturing the natural world through a camera lens.

Following a nature stroll, participants honed their photography skills, with Dr. Jadav providing expert evaluations.

The photographs were later displayed on a digital screen, allowing parents and the audience to admire the participants' photographs.

Seed Identification Game:

Families engaged in a fun-filled seed identification game, where they had to correctly identify various fruit and vegetable seeds placed on the counter to win seed pouches. The game brought excitement and laughter as everyone eagerly sought to uncover the answers. Simultaneously, the children immersed themselves in painting activity books provided to them, further enhancing the enjoyment of the day.

The day concluded with a shared sense of excitement and satisfaction, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
