On 28th January 2026, a group of 23 B.Arch students from Christ University, Bangalore, accompanied by two faculty members, visited Organo Antharam. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by members of the OES team, who provided an introductory overview of Organo Eco Habitats and Organo Et School.

Mr. Prabhakar from the Business Development team introduced the guiding framework of Organo, known as Sapthapatha. To enhance experiential learning, the students were divided into seven groups, each representing one of the seven strands of sustainability: Air, Water, Energy, Earth, Food, Shelter, and People. Each group was tasked with exploring and gathering insights related to their assigned theme.

To understand the Food strand, the students visited the netted house and farm areas. The OES team explained natural farming practices, drip irrigation systems, and crop planning strategies designed to ensure self-sufficiency for each household.

For the Energy strand, the group visited the parking area where solar panels are installed. Ms. Kalyani explained how the community operates as a net-zero energy system, with electricity generated from these panels supporting both residential units and common areas.

The students visited God’s Own Office to gain a deeper understanding of the Sapthapatha framework and its practical implementation within the community. They also explored the Gaushala and biogas unit to understand how organic waste is converted into renewable energy. This demonstrated an efficient circular system where waste from cattle and organic matter is utilized to produce clean fuel for daily use.

The Water management systems were also demonstrated, covering elements such as canal systems, dug wells, bio-pool filtration processes, and the Sewage Treatment Plant. This provided the students with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable water management practices.

By the end of the visit, both students and faculty were deeply impressed and inspired. The experience showcased how thoughtful architectural design can create sustainable living environments—something that often seems challenging to achieve in practice.
