On 1st February, Organo Et School (OES) conducted an engaging and meaningful workshop at Ramky Towers, bringing together young participants for a hands-on learning experience. The highlight of the session was tote bag painting, where children explored their creativity while learning about the importance of reusing old items.
During the activity, each child was given a plain tote bag and encouraged to design it using leaf imprints. As they painted, facilitators introduced participants to the beauty of nature through art, where leaves became natural stamps to create unique patterns and designs on reusable tote bags. Children explored different shapes, textures, and impressions, turning simple materials into creative expressions. The activity encouraged them to observe nature more closely and appreciate the diversity found in everyday surroundings.
Beyond creativity, the workshop carried a strong message of sustainability. By using eco-friendly materials and promoting reusable bags, children were introduced to alternatives that help reduce plastic usage. The hands-on experience made learning both fun and meaningful, allowing them to understand how small choices can contribute to a healthier environment.
The session also fostered curiosity, imagination, and a sense of responsibility towards nature. As children proudly carried their handmade creations, they also carried home an important lesson—embracing creativity while making conscious, sustainable choices in their daily lives.
The event at Ramky Towers was a wonderful example of how experiential learning can inspire young minds to adopt responsible habits and become conscious contributors to a greener future.
