On June 2nd, Ethika Insurance Broking Pvt.Ltd invited OES to participate in a webinar for Ethika’s customers on sustainability and how it matters. During the webinar, Mrs.Meena Murugappan, Director Organo Et School, explored the critical issue of the climate crisis and its relevance to our lives, both as individuals and as an organization.
We all have knowledge about how climate change and how it is impacting our planet, but the real question is do we feel it in our lives.

She also talked about Organo’s journey that led them to move across various industries, such as agriculture, animal husbandry, education, and product innovation, to promote sustainable living and eco-communities.

She said we require mindset change, conscious consumption, and demand minimization to fight climate change. After the presentation, there was a question and answer session where the OES team answered the queries from the attendees.
At last, she shared her three asks:
Ask1: At the Personal level, move from a consumer mindset to a producer mindset
Ask 2: At the Office level, allow Organo Et School, to help workspaces become more earth-friendly through small and simple measures
Ask 3: At the family level, Introduce children to safe food systems and natural farming through OES’s Farm programs
Organo Et School empowers people to embrace eco-living mindsets, behaviors, and habits. We recognize that for any positive impact to be sustainable, it must be long-term and inter-generational.
Organo Et School is a learning initiative set up by Organo in 2017 and has been facilitating field visits and workshops for Schools and Interest Groups. Organo Et School has had over 25+ schools, 6500+ students, and 3000+ adults participate over the last 5 years.
