Organo Et School (OES) recently brought together creativity, learning, and nature through a series of engaging workshops at a vibrant community, Aparna Serene Park on 31st January and 1st February 2026. These thoughtfully designed sessions aimed to nurture imagination while fostering a deeper connection with the environment among children.
Day 1: Tote Bag Painting – Creativity with Purpose and Nature Storytelling Session
On 31st January, OES conducted an exciting Tote Bag Painting Workshop, which saw enthusiastic participation from over 70 children in the community. The workshop encouraged children to express themselves artistically while promoting sustainable practices. The idea behind this activity was to introduce young minds to the concept of eco-friendly alternatives.

By painting their own reusable tote bags, children not only explored their creativity but also learned the importance of reducing plastic usage in everyday life. Each bag became a personal canvas, reflecting individuality while carrying a powerful message of sustainability.

In the evening, an engaging and inspiring storytelling session was conducted by budding artist Mr. Md Rafeeq. Through captivating stories, he introduced children to the journey of how a plant grows from a tiny seed into a thriving life form.

His storytelling beautifully connected children with nature, helping them understand its importance and inspiring them to care for the Earth with responsibility and empathy.

Day 2: Botanical Illustration – Art Inspired by Nature and Kitchen Garden WorkshopOn 1st February, the OES team organized a Botanical Illustration Workshop, where children were guided to observe and appreciate the beauty of nature closely.

Participants explored a variety of leaves, observing their shapes, textures, and patterns before transforming them into beautiful art pieces. This hands-on experience helped children slow down, observe details and develop a sense of curiosity about the natural world.

The core idea behind this workshop was to bring children closer to nature—encouraging them to see art not just as a creative outlet, but as a way to connect with and understand the environment around them.

On the other hand, Ms. Sreedevi Ande introduced the children to the basics of soil mixing and gave them a simple yet insightful introduction to home gardening. She explained how the right combination of soil, nutrients, and care plays a crucial role in helping plants grow healthy and strong.

The session quickly turned into a sensory and hands-on experience, as children eagerly touched, felt, and explored different soil textures with great curiosity. This direct interaction not only made the learning more engaging but also helped them form a deeper connection with the natural elements. By the end of the session, the children carried with them not just new knowledge, but meaningful lessons they can apply in their daily lives—encouraging them to nurture plants and develop a lifelong bond with nature.
A Meaningful Learning Experience
Both workshops reflected OES’s commitment to experiential and nature-based learning. By blending art with environmental awareness, the sessions created a meaningful impact—helping children develop creativity, mindfulness, and a sense of responsibility towards the planet.
The workshops at Aparna Serene Park were not just activities, but memorable experiences that inspired young participants to think creatively and live sustainably.
