On 19th February 2026, B arch students from Saveetha College of Architecture and Design visited Organo Antharam for an educational case study tour focused on sustainable architecture and community planning. The visit offered students an opportunity to experience how sustainability principles can be thoughtfully integrated into everyday living spaces and built environments.
The tour was guided by Organo ET School (OES) team member Ms. Susmita, who introduced the students to the Sapthapadha concept centered around sustainable and mindful living.

Through detailed explanations and interactive discussions, the students gained insights into how ecological values, community well-being, and environmental responsibility are woven into the planning and design of Antharam.

The visit began with a walkthrough of the netted house farming area, where students observed sustainable farming practices and understood the importance of integrating green spaces within residential communities. The session highlighted how urban farming and natural ecosystems can coexist within architectural planning to encourage healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.

The students were then taken through the residential clusters of Antharam, where they explored the layout, design approach, and community-oriented planning principles adopted within the project. The cluster design demonstrated how architecture can encourage interaction, openness, and a stronger connection with nature while maintaining functionality and comfort.

One of the major highlights of the tour was the visit to God’s Own Office, a thoughtfully designed space that reflects Organo’s sustainability vision. During the session, students were introduced to various sustainable features incorporated within the structure, including rainwater harvesting systems and eco-conscious building practices. The discussions helped students understand the practical application of sustainable design concepts in real-world settings.

The case study visit served as a valuable learning experience for the architecture students, bridging classroom concepts with practical exposure. Through this immersive tour, the students gained a deeper appreciation for sustainable community design and the role architecture can play in shaping environmentally responsible futures.
