Organo Et School (OES) brought the joy of growing food closer to home through an engaging kitchen garden workshop under its Organo@Community initiative at My Home Ankura.
The workshop welcomed several senior citizens who gathered to explore the basics of kitchen gardening and discover how everyday spaces can be transformed into green corners. Led by gardening expert Sreedevi Ande, the session introduced practical tips for starting and maintaining a kitchen garden, encouraging participants to nurture plants and experience the rewards of growing their own food.
What began as a learning session soon blossomed into an interactive question-and-answer discussion. Participants showed particular interest in pest management, sharing their gardening concerns and seeking expert advice on protecting plants naturally and effectively.
The session was a wonderful reminder that gardening brings people together, nurtures curiosity and inspires sustainable living at every age.
Organo Et School empowers people to embrace eco-living mindsets, behaviors, and habits. We recognize that for any positive impact to be sustainable, it must be long-term and inter-generational.
UNESCO recognized Organo Et School as a green citizen initiative and Uplink, the open innovation platform of the World Economic Forum (WEF) recognized OES as Global Innovative Solution.
